The University of Hawai‘i at Manoa (UHM), College of Engineering, Department of Civil, Environmental and Construction Engineering, invites applications for a full-time, general fund, tenure track faculty position, pending position clearance and availability of funds to begin approximately August 1, 2026, or as soon as possible thereafter.

The successful candidate will have access to a well-equipped geotechnical testing laboratory, along with associated machine shop facilities. Available computer facilities are extensive, including access to the Maui High-Performance Computing Center and state-of-the-art multimedia computer instructional laboratories.

The Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at Auburn University invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position in Environmental Engineering beginning Fall 2026. Applications at the assistant professor level are especially encouraged although exceptionally well-qualified applicants suited to appointment at the associate professor rank may also be considered. Candidates with research and teaching interests that complement those of the existing faculty are desired. Example areas of interest include, but are not limited to, environmental biotechnology; coastal ecosystems; physical-chemical processes; contaminant fate and transport; water treatment and reuse; food-energy-water nexus; environmental health; stormwater; and sustainable development. The selected faculty member is expected to teach undergraduate and graduate courses, develop and sustain an externally funded research program, and direct graduate students.
