Data Engineering

Work description

Study the current process of collecting building consumption data from INESC TEC obtained from the WITHUS meters, identifying where the meters are installed and how communication is made. Update or develop a new data collection process for the new meters, aiming to improve possible issues with the existing script. Develop intuitive dashboards for presenting consumption data and displaying it in a browser environment. Integrate the data into the building’s technical management system. Prepare a technical report: -Study the functionalities of the Daikin heat pump and how to communicate with it through a DCOM adapter connected to a Moxa gateway. Prepare a technical report on how to interact with the heat pump system and gateway,

Etna (Sicily, Italy): A new eruptive episode of strombolian activity occurred at the Southeast Crater last night.
Two lava flows emerged from the summit cone at the SE Crater and traveled down the south and southeastern slope. As usual, the activity was accompanied by intense spattering.

Bulusan (Luzon Island, Philippines): Explosive activity continues. Volcanic Ash Advisory Center (VAAC) Tokyo warned about a volcanic ash plume that rose up to estimated 18000 ft (5500 m) altitude or flight level 180 and is moving at 15 kts in W direction.
