The Department of Electrical Engineering (EE Department) in the new College of Engineering (CEN) at Illinois State University (ISU) invites applications for one open rank tenure-track position beginning January 1, 2026. We are seeking qualified candidates with expertise in Communication Systems, or Mobile Communications, or Wireless Communications, or other closely related area(s).

Because the College is in its foundational stages, we are seeking a candidate who can quickly adapt, be flexible in terms of workload distribution, and serve as founding member of the EE Department. Responsibilities for the position will change from year to year until the new College reaches its steady state by 2029 or earlier. About the Position: The Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering at the University of Alabama in Huntsville invites applications for a nontenure-track Lecturer position. This position will support teaching in the Mechanical Engineering and Aerospace Engineering curriculum along with relevant university and professional service activities. Candidates with experience in numerical methods, solid mechanics, or instructional laboratory management are particularly encouraged to apply. Applicants should have an earned MS or PhD degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science and Engineering, or a related field.
