At 1227 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Steuben, or 9 miles east of Rome, moving northeast at 30 mph. HAZARD…60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail. SOURCE…Radar indicated. IMPACT…Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees. Locations impacted include… Rome, Boonville, Forestport, Steuben, Remsen, Alder Creek, Hawkinsville, Delta Lake State Park, Woodgate, and North Western.

Rises in small streams and normally dry arroyos.
