Showers and thunderstorms are developing and lifting northeast across Southwest and Central Montana this morning. While most showers and thunderstorms will generally produce periods of heavy rain and gusty winds of 20 to 30 mph a few of the stronger thunderstorms will be capable of producing wind gusts of 40 to 50 mph and small hail to the size of dimes. Be prepared for erratic wind gusts and periods of reduced visibility in areas of heavy rainfall.
