Notice of Information: Administrative Supplements to Increase the Number of Training Slots in NIA-funded T32 Awards to Support Within-Scope Training of Music-Science Research

This notice represents NIA’s participation in a joint effort between the National Institutes of Health (NIH) and the Foundation for the NIH (FNIH) as part of the Sound Health Initiative to address the need of capacity building for music and health. This notice aims to support existing NIH-funded Ruth L. Kirschstein National Research Service Award (NRSA) Institutional Research Training Grant (T32) programs to apply for an administrative supplement, which will provide an additional training slot for predoctoral or postdoctoral candidates interested in gaining advanced research skills at the interface between music or music-based interventions and the health or biomedical topic areas within the scopes supported by the parent T32s.
