The department is particularly interested in candidates whose research strengthens one or more of the following areas: sustainable and resilient civil infrastructure systems, advanced and innovative construction materials, geotechnical and pavement engineering, structural materials behavior, durability and life-cycle performance of infrastructure, and smart sensing or data-driven methods for infrastructure monitoring and management.
