Just 20 minutes ago, a 4.8-magnitude earthquake struck near Dededo Village, Dededo, Guam. The tremor was recorded around noon on Wednesday, November 5th, 2025, at 1:03 pm local time, at an intermediate depth of 109.86 km below the surface.
The event was filed by the United States Geological Survey, the first seismological agency to report it.
A second report was later issued by The Incorporated Research Institutions for Seismology (IRIS), which listed it as a magnitude 4.8 earthquake as well. Other agencies reporting the same quake include Indonesia’s Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysical Agency at magnitude 4.7, and the European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC) at magnitude 4.8.
