The Francis College of Engineering (FCOE) at the University of Massachusetts Lowell (UMass Lowell) invites applications from exceptional candidates for a full-time Assistant Teaching Professor position in the Biomedical Engineering Department. The role is expected to start in September 2026. Teaching Professors play a vital role in developing and delivering curriculum within the FCOE and are actively involved in departmental, college, and university activities. Assistant Teaching Professors enjoy full faculty privileges and undergo an assessment for promotion to Associate Teaching Professor (with equivalent to tenure).

The successful candidate will join the department and college faculty and will be responsible for teaching undergraduate and/or graduate courses, engaging in curriculum development, contributing to professional activities, and participating in relevant departmental and university service, including outreach.
