The Department of Civil, Environmental & Geomatics Engineering (http://www.cege.fau.edu) at Florida Atlantic University invites applications for a tenure-earning Assistant Professor position in the general area of Civil Infrastructure and Materials Engineering. The department is particularly interested in candidates whose research strengthens one or more of the following areas: sustainable and resilient civil infrastructure systems, advanced and innovative construction materials, geotechnical and pavement engineering, structural materials behavior, durability and life-cycle performance of infrastructure, and smart sensing or data-driven methods for infrastructure monitoring and management. Candidates whose work integrates resilience, sustainability, or emerging technologies to advance next-generation infrastructure solutions are especially encouraged to apply.
