Addis Ababa (97.8 km SW of epicenter) [Map] / Weak shaking (MMI III) / horizontal (sideways) swinging / 30-60 s : In my apartment, was preparing to take a shower, heard the building shake (creaking sound), and saw the curtains move like tgey are coming together. | One user found this interesting.  

Mekanisa, Addis Ababa (143.3 km S of epicenter) [Map] / Weak shaking (MMI III) / horizontal (sideways) swinging / 5-10 s : I am on the 4th floor and felt the building swaying and saw the curtains move from left to right etc. The couch I was sitting on moved as well. | One user found this interesting.  

Adis Ababa (142.2 km WSW of epicenter) [Map] / Strong shaking (MMI VI) / horizontal (sideways) swinging / 5-10 s : I woke up and was lying on my back, when I felt a swing sensation, I suspected it was the earth, and when I looked at the furniture, I saw the movement of the flower in the house.
