Just 17 minutes ago, a 3.7-magnitude earthquake struck near Rhodes, Dodecanese, South Aegean, Greece. The tremor was recorded early evening on Wednesday, November 26th, 2025, at 7:48 pm local time, at a shallow depth of 10. km below the surface.
The event was filed by the National Observatory of Athens (NOA), the first seismological agency to report it.
A second report was later issued by the Kandilli Oservatory and Earthquake Research Institute in Istanbul (KOERI-RETMC), which listed it as a magnitude 3.8 earthquake. Other agencies reporting the same quake include Turkey’s Disaster and Emergency Management Authority (AFAD) at magnitude 3.8, the European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC) at magnitude 3.8, The Seismological Laboratory of the University of Athens (UOA) at magnitude 3.5, the citizen-seismograph network of RaspberryShake at magnitude 3.8, and The Aristotle University of Thessaloniki Geophysical Lab. (AUTH) at magnitude 3.6.
