Winds gusting as high as 40 mph as the precipitation arrives, but will start to taper once snow begins to fall. * WHERE…Mono County. * WHEN…From 7 AM Monday to 7 AM PST Tuesday. * IMPACTS…Roads, and especially bridges and overpasses, will likely become slick and hazardous. Travel could be very difficult. The hazardous conditions could impact the Monday morning and evening commutes.

Winds gusting as high as 50 mph along the ridges, with gusts up to 35 mph at lake level. * WHERE…Greater Lake Tahoe Area. * WHEN…Until 4 PM PST Monday. * IMPACTS…Travel could be very difficult. The hazardous conditions could impact the Monday morning commute. Gusty winds could bring down tree branches. Small boats, kayaks and paddle boards will be prone to capsizing and should remain off lake waters until conditions improve.
