At 714 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong thunderstorms over Stennis Space Center, or 11 miles east of Slidell, moving southeast at 5 mph. HAZARD…Wind gusts up to 50 mph and half inch hail. SOURCE…Radar indicated. IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible. Locations impacted include… Pearlington, Stennis Space Center, and Shoreline Park. This includes the following Interstates… Interstate 10 in Louisiana between mile markers 271 and 273. Interstate 10 in Mississippi between mile markers 1 and 8.
