At 416 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 5 miles northwest of Roy, or 23 miles northwest of Mosquero, moving east at 30 mph. HAZARD…Wind gusts up to 50 mph and nickel size hail. SOURCE…Radar indicated. IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible. Locations impacted include… Roy, Chicosa Lake State Park and Solano.

* WHAT…Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE…A portion of northern Florida, including the following counties, Hamilton and Suwannee. * WHEN…Until 815 PM EDT. * IMPACTS…Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS… – At 614 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. – Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are expected over the area.
