It will then fall below flood stage early Thursday morning. – Flood stage is 6.0 feet.

Radar estimates between 3 and 8 inches of rain have fallen in the past few hours in the Ravenna and Ector areas. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly. HAZARD…Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms. SOURCE…Radar. IMPACT…Flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets, and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low lying areas. Some locations that will experience flash flooding include… Bonham, Ector, Ravenna, Lake Bonham, Bonham State Park, Randolph, Boyd, Ridings, Ivanhoe, Sowells Bluff, Ely, Cotton Center, Duplex and Gober.

The Connecticut Department of Energy and Environmental Protection has issued an Air Quality Action Day for the following counties: Fairfield, New Haven, Middlesex, New London from 11 AM this morning to 11 PM EDT this evening. An Air Quality Action Day means that Ground Level Ozone within the region may approach or exceed unhealthy standards. The New York State Department of Environmental Conservation has issued an Air Quality Health Advisory for the following counties: New York, Bronx, Kings, Queens, Richmond, Westchester, Rockland, Orange, Putnam from 11 AM this morning to 11 PM EDT this evening. Air quality levels in outdoor air are predicted to be greater than an Air Quality Index value of 100 for the pollutant of Ground Level Ozone. The Air Quality Index, or AQI, was created as an easy way to correlate levels of different pollutants to one scale. The higher the AQI value, the greater the health concern.
