Additional snow accumulations as high as 12 to 18 inches, particularly over portions of Antrim, Kalkaska, Crawford, and southeastern Otsego counties…with additional amounts of 6 to 10 inches elsewhere. Winds gusting as high as 40 mph. * WHERE…A portion of Northern Lower Michigan. * WHEN…Until 7 PM EST Friday. * IMPACTS…Travel will be very treacherous, particularly beneath the heaviest snow bands, where snowfall rates of 1 to 2 inches per hour will lead to whiteout conditions and roads quickly becoming snow covered. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS…The heaviest band is expected to impact parts of US-131 between Elmira and Fife Lake…and I-75 just north of Waters (exit 270) to Roscommon.
