Patchy dense fog has developed across portions of the Lower Columbia Basin in Washington tonight, with visibilities between a quarter mile to a mile being reported. Reduced visibility will continue to impact the Tri-Cities and areas to the north, as well as along portions of I-82 and US-395 through this morning.

Snow totals of 6 to 12 inches above 8000 feet, 2 to 6 inches between 6500 feet and 8000 feet. * WHERE…Southern Mountains. * WHEN…From 5 PM this afternoon to 5 AM MST Wednesday. * IMPACTS…Winter driving conditions are likely for all mountain routes above 8000 feet tonight, at or above 7000 feet by Tuesday evening, with the most significant impacts occurring during periods of heavy precipitation.

Flood waters may impede upon displaced structures. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS…Southerly winds gusting up to 40 mph along the coast are forecast through midday today and will coincide with high tide at around 9 am. Winds are expected to slowly diminish through this evening, but will still gust as high as 30 to 35 mph before midnight. Water levels with high tides through at least Thursday will be lower but will exceed the normal

Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 0.5 and 1 inch of rain has fallen. – Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1 inch are expected over the area.
