Old Dominion University The Department of Engineering Technology at Old Dominion University invites applicants for an Assistant Professor of Manufacturing Engineering Technology (MFET) to begin in Fall 2025. This is an annual 10-month tenure-track appointment that will begin July 25, 2025. The department is committed to recruiting, supporting, and fostering a diverse community of outstanding faculty, undergraduate students, and staff.

The primary responsibilities for this position are as follows:

Teach undergraduate courses in the Manufacturing Engineering Technology program on campus and in distance education through ODU Global. Seek external funding opportunities to support scholarly activities. Produce high-quality research for publication in top-ranked journals. Contribute to systematic planning and development of the MFET program. Participate in the professional and intellectual community
