The advisory area is east of the Flash Flood Warning for southern Logan and southwestern Gove counties. * WHEN…Until 215 AM CDT. * IMPACTS…Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS… – At 1103 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 3 inches of rain have fallen. – Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1 inch are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding.

At 954 PM MDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Up to 3 inches of rain have fallen. The expected rainfall rate is 1 to 2 inches in 1 hour. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly. HAZARD…Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms. SOURCE…Radar. IMPACT…Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas. Some locations that will experience flash flooding include… Chadron, Chadron Municipal Airport, Chadron State Park, Dawes County Fairgrounds and Chadron State Park Campground.

* WHAT…Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues. * WHERE…A portion of east central Nebraska, including the following county, Polk. * WHEN…Until 200 AM CDT. * IMPACTS…Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS… – At 1041 PM CDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated that at least 1 to 3.5 inches of rain fell mainly between 9 and 10 PM Monday evening in far northeastern Polk County along and a few miles west of Highway 81. Minor flooding is likely ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the Advisory area. Fortunately, rain has since ended and it will likely remain dry for at least several more hours,
