At 420 PM MDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain in Wire Pass and Buckskin Gulch, including House Rock Valley Road. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly. HAZARD…Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing flash flooding. SOURCE…Radar. IMPACT…Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams, slot canyons, and normally dry washes. Some locations that will experience flash flooding include… Wire Pass and Buckskin Gulch, including House Rock Valley Road.

At 316 PM PDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong thunderstorms along a line extending from 8 miles east of Lake Los Angeles to near Pinon Hills. Movement was east at 15 mph. HAZARD…Wind gusts up to 50 mph. SOURCE…Radar indicated. IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include… Highway 138 between Llano and the San Bernardino County line.

At 416 PM MDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly. HAZARD…Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms. SOURCE…Radar. IMPACT…Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas. At 405 PM MDT heaviest rain was falling on Granite Creek which leads into the South Fork of the Boise River. Elmore County Road 113 runs along the river and Danskin Bridge River Access is in the path of water flow. Persons are advised to stay away from that area.
