Confidence is growing in the potential for significant accumulating snow over the weekend for parts of far northern panhandle, with minor accumulations in the Icy Strait corridor as a strong system moves up from the south Saturday night. As the storm moves northward, a rain/snow mix will initially be possible for parts of the Icy Strait corridor, ranging from Pelican to Juneau.
