Breakers up to 20 to 25 feet. * WHERE…North and Central Coast of Oregon, and South Washington Coast. * WHEN…Until 5 PM PDT this afternoon. * IMPACTS…Destructive waves may wash over beaches, jetties, and other structures unexpectedly. People can be swept off rocks and jetties and drown while observing high surf. Minor beach erosion may damage coastal properties and buildings. Higher than normal water run-up is expected on beaches and low- lying shoreline. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS…Sneaker waves are also possible due to high waves and long period energetic periods. * WHAT…Increased threat of sneaker waves expected. * WHERE…Coastal Del Norte, Northern Humboldt Coast, Southwestern Humboldt and Mendocino Coast Counties. * WHEN…Through late tonight. . * IMPACTS…Large, unexpected waves can sweep across the beach without warning, sweeping people into the sea from rocks, jetties, and beaches. These sneaker waves can also move large objects such as logs, crushing anyone caught underneath.

* WHAT…A long period northwesterly swell will result in an increased risk for sneaker waves and rip currents and breaking waves of 12 to 17 feet with the highest waves up to 20 feet in favored locations. * WHERE…Pacific Coast beaches. * WHEN…From 7 AM PDT this morning through late Monday night. * IMPACTS…Sneaker waves can unexpectedly run significantly farther up the beach than normal, including over rocks and jetties. Rip currents are typically more frequent and stronger in the vicinity of jetties, inlets, and piers.
