Winds gusting as high as 50 mph. * WHERE…St Lawrence Island. * WHEN…Until 6 AM AKST Thursday. * IMPACTS…Travel could be very difficult. Gusty winds combined with snow could lead to significant reductions in visibility. Localized blizzard conditions possible at times. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS…Snowfall rates can be as high as 1 inch per hour at points tonight. This coupled with strong wind gusts to 50 mph will result in low visibility, potentially as low as one-quarter mile at times.
