Localized areas of freezing fog have been observed this morning over the northern panhandle, particular near the Juneau Airport and near DoT 3 Mile, with visibilities reduced down to 1/2 statue mile at times. Use caution as freezing fog can greatly reduce visibilities and make surfaces slick during the morning commute. Fog is expected to dissipate with visibilities improving over the next few hours as the sun rises and an upper level cloud decks moves over the area.
