At 1109 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong thunderstorms over Plano, moving southeast at 40 mph. HAZARD…Winds in excess of 30 mph and penny size hail. SOURCE…Radar indicated. IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. …The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Florida… St Johns River Near Astor affecting Lake and Volusia Counties. .On the Saint Johns River Near Astor, northerly winds over the basin are maintaining levels near Moderate Flood Stage. The river is forecast to remain at or just below Moderate flood stage (3.00 feet) into next week. Any additional heavy rainfall may cause further rises in river levels.
