Lake effect bands continue to impact Huron and Sanilac Counties through the afternoon and evening commute. Snowfall rates up to an inch per hour combined with north winds gusting to 25 mph will reduce visibility below one mile at times. Additional accumulations of 1 to 3 inches will be possible between now and sunset. With temperatures holding in the upper 20s, drivers should be prepared for variable road conditions and slick spots through the evening commute.
