Southwest to west winds have become strong and gusty across the East Glacier Park Region and Northern High Plains, generally along and west of the US Hwy 89 corridor from Dupuyer north to the Canadian Border. Travelers in these areas should be prepared for strong cross winds of between 50 to 70 mph, especially in the Badger Creek and Two Medicine River Valleys west of US Hwy 89. Know your vehicles limits!

At 205 AM CST, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near Naples, or 20 miles east of Mount Pleasant, moving east at 30 mph. HAZARD…Wind gusts up to 40 mph. SOURCE…Radar indicated. IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include… Naples, Redwater, Maud, Omaha, Douglassville, Marietta, Bryans Mill and Spring Hill.
