Water over roadways. Overflowing poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS… – At 1111 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Up to 1.5 inches of rain have fallen. – Additional rainfall amounts up to 1.5 inches are expected over the area. At 909 PM PDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over West Wendover, moving east at 25 mph. HAZARD…Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail. SOURCE…Radar indicated. IMPACT…Brief heavy rainfall along with gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible.
