At 520 PM EST, a severe thunderstorm was located near Godfrey, or 9 miles southwest of Madison, moving east at 30 mph. HAZARD…60 mph wind gusts and half dollar size hail. SOURCE…Radar indicated. IMPACT…Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees. Locations impacted include… Eatonton, Madison, Shady Dale, Phoenix, Rock Eagle 4-H Center, Central Georgia Experiment Stn, Farrar, Parks Mill, Harmony, and Godfrey.
