ESFAFC Prolonged moderate to heavy rain from Togiak to Dillingham is expected Saturday afternoon through Monday morning. Lighter rain showers will begin as early as Saturday morning and will continue into Monday evening. Expect water levels along small streams and rivers to rise, especially in steeper terrain. Expected Rainfall: Saturday Morning through Monday afternoon * Togiak/Twin Hills: 2.5 to 4.0 inches. * Dillingham: 2.0 to 3.0 inches. * Manokotak: 2.5 to 4.0 inches. * Clarks Point: 2.0 to 3.0 inches. * WHAT…Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE…A portion of Central Kansas, including the following county, McPherson. * WHEN…Until 1245 PM CDT Sunday. * IMPACTS…Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS… – At 637 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated between 3 and 5 inches of rainfall has occurred across southern McPherson county in the last few hours, with more rainfall expected early this morning. – Some locations that will experience flooding include… Mcpherson, Moundridge, Inman, Galva, Canton, Windom and Mcpherson Airport.
