* WHAT…Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues. * WHERE…A portion of central Nebraska, including the following county, Valley. * WHEN…Until 100 AM CDT. * IMPACTS…Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS… – At 920 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain had fallen from earlier strong thunderstorms. The rainfall rates have diminished. Minor flooding is ongoing or may begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 3 inches of rain have fallen. – Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are possible over the area. At 815 PM MDT, the public reported thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 1 and 1.5 inches of rain have fallen. Flooding impacts will continue, but no additional rainfall is expected. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly. HAZARD…Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms. SOURCE…Confirmed by public video of flood waters in Cattleman’s Steakhouse. IMPACT…Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, streets, and driveways as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas. Some locations that will experience flash flooding include… Indian Cliffs Ranch and Cattleman’s Steakhouse. This includes the following streams and drainages… San Felipe Arroyo, Cottonwood Dam, and Rattlesnake Dam.
