Expect flood waters to progress downstream toward Cornville reaching a crest around 9:00 PM MST this evening. – This includes the following creeks, washes and rivers… Oak Creek. – For Oak Creek at Cornville: At 5:00pm the stage was 5.09 feet and rising. Forecast: A crest of 5.26 feet is expected

At 612 PM CST, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 4 miles northwest of Hamlin, moving northeast at 25 mph. HAZARD…Wind gusts up to 50 mph and nickel size hail. SOURCE…Radar indicated. IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. This storm will remain over mainly rural areas of southeastern Stonewall County.
