IMPACT…Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees. Locations impacted include… Reedsburg, La Valle, Loganville, Ironton, Lime Ridge, and Hill Point.

A rapidly strengthening storm-force low will track across the Bering Sea today as its front pushes eastward across the Aleutian Chain. The front reaches Adak by this afternoon and Unalaska by Tuesday morning. This front will bring southerly winds gusting to 60 mph as it sweeps the Chain. Westerly winds will fill in behind the front, gusting as high as 70 mph in Adak Tuesday afternoon, reaching Nikolski and Unalaska by Wednesday morning. Expect storm- force sustained winds to persist near Nikolski and Unalaska through Wednesday morning as the low shifts eastward. Winds diminish later Wednesday as the low center weakens and shifts southeastward.
