Patchy fog and isolated black ice are possible this morning across southern New England, especially in areas that typically fog over. As temperatures are at or below freezing, a few slick patches of black ice may form, especially on elevated surfaces; like bridges and overpasses. Please use caution heading out early this morning and allow for extra commuting time.

* WHAT…Urban and small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues. * WHERE…A portion of Southwest California, including the following counties, Orange, Riverside, San Bernardino and San Diego. * WHEN…Until 133 AM PST. * IMPACTS…Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS… – At 1209 AM PST, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated heavy rain. This will cause urban and small stream flooding. Between 0.25 and 0.75 inches of rain have fallen. – Additional rainfall amounts of 0.25 to 0.5 inches are expected over the area. Fog, locally dense in some areas, has developed across portions of Central and Southwest Montana. While most areas will see visibilities of between one to three miles where the fog has developed there will be localized spots where visibilities fall to as low as one quarter of a mile. Travelers should be prepared for changing conditions. Slow down and use low beam headlights if you encounter reductions in visibility due to fog.
