Winds gusting as high as 35 mph. * WHERE…Forest, Mercer, and Venango Counties. * WHEN…From 5 AM Thursday to 7 PM EST Friday. * IMPACTS…Travel could be very difficult. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS…Scattered snow showers will become more numerous Thursday into Friday. Lake effect snow bands are also expected to develop, which will create low visibility and hazardous travel conditions. There is a potential for locally higher snowfall amounts under persistent snow bands, and an upgrade to a Lake Effect Snow Warning may be needed if this occurs.
