Job Description:
The College of Engineering, Applied Science & Technology at Weber State University is accepting applications for an assistant tenure track faculty position in a new Industrial Engineering program starting fall semester, 2026. The new Industrial Engineering program is an extension of the robust Mechanical Engineering department which offers baccalaureate degrees in energy engineering, mechanical engineering, mechanical engineering technology and an associate in pre-engineering. The selected individual will teach a variety of fundamental industrial engineering courses.
Job Duties:
Expected duties include program-building, advising, community and industry outreach, course development, and service to the department, college, and university. Required courses to be taught are Operations Research, Human Factors, Work Analysis & Design, Production Engineering, and Facilities Planning.
