The UCLA Samueli School of Engineering invites applications for multiple open rank tenure-track faculty positions in the departments of Electrical and Computer Engineering and Materials Science and Engineering.

Applicants for the positions must have a demonstrated record of excellence in, or show exceptional promise for high-quality research, teaching, and professional development. In addition, applicants must have a demonstrated record of interest in, and commitment to, the mentorship of and/or outreach to first-generation college students and others who have experienced financial or educational disadvantages. The successful candidate will be expected to advance their active mentoring activities and participate in programs that provide research and professional development opportunities for our diverse student body. Applicants must have earned a Ph.D. by the date of hire in a related field. Applications will be considered at all levels.

The Graduate Program in Acoustics and the Applied Research Laboratory at the Pennsylvania State University in University Park, PA are pleased to invite applications for a tenure-track or tenured position at the Associate, or Full Professor level in underwater and/or ocean acoustics. Applicants should have extensive records of building large-scale collaborative partnerships and programs among academia, governmental agencies, industry, and research institutions. Applicants should also have qualifications appropriate for an appointment as a tenure-track/tenured Associate Professor or Professor in the College of Engineering.

The Graduate Program in Acoustics is one of the world’s premier resources in acoustics education and research, and it was established in 1965.
