The Francis College of Engineering (FCOE) at the University of Massachusetts Lowell (UMass Lowell) is searching for outstanding candidates for a full-time tenure-track Assistant Professor position in Biomedical Engineering.  The position is anticipated to begin in September 2026.

The role is expected to start in September 2026. Teaching Professors play a vital role in developing and delivering curriculum within the FCOE and are actively involved in departmental, college, and university activities. Assistant Teaching Professors enjoy full faculty privileges and undergo an assessment for promotion to Associate Teaching Professor (with equivalent to tenure).
