Tenure Track Faculty Position
The UNC Charlotte Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant or Associate Professor starting in August 2026 for position #001808. While candidates with expertise in all areas of electrical and computer engineering will be considered, particular emphasis is on computer systems and design aspects that enable real-world AI applications, including hardware-software co-design for machine learning, learning-enabled computer architectures, cloud and edge computing, hardware security, embedded systems, and systems software. Candidates with collaborative research focus are encouraged.
Candidates should be committed to excellence in teaching at the undergraduate and graduate levels, development of high-impact sponsored research programs, supervision of student research, student mentoring, and academic services.
