Job Description:

The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) at the University of Michigan–Dearborn, a Carnegie-classified R2 Doctoral University (High Research Activity), invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position with specialization in cyber-physical systems, quantum computing, and/or semiconductors.

The successful candidate will pursue innovative research with applications in areas such as automotive engineering, energy systems, robotics, or cybersecurity. While primary consideration will be given to candidates at the Assistant Professor level, exceptional applicants for the Associate Professor rank will also be considered.

The ECE Department, comprising 24 full-time faculty members, is experiencing dynamic growth and is actively recruiting strategic hires to strengthen its core research areas. Our state-of-the-art 123,000-square-foot Engineering Laboratory Building, along with well-equipped facilities, provides outstanding opportunities for both research and teaching.
