Etna (Sicily, Italy): The Instituto Nazionale di Geofisica e Vulcanologia-Osservatorio Etneo (INGV-Osservatorio Etneo) reported that the eruption continued at Etna between 1 September 2025 (local) and 2 September 2025 (local). The alert level at Etna remained at “Yellow” (level 2 on a 4-level scale). The aviation alert level was lowered to “Green” (level 1 on a 4-level scale).
