The Department of Civil, Construction and Environmental Engineering (CCEE: https://cce.eng.ua.edu/) and the Lee J. Styslinger Jr. College of Engineering (SCoE: https://eng.ua.edu/) at The University of Alabama (UA: https://ua.edu/) invite applications for multiple tenure-track positions at the rank of Assistant Professor within the CCEE department.

Candidates with research interests across all domains relevant to civil, construcation and environmental engineering are encouraged to apply. Candidates with particular research emphasis and interest in the areas of Resilience Engineering (including focus areas in geotechnical and construction), Architectural Engineering (including focus areas in MEP, construction, building envelope, fire protection, acoustical and lighting), Transportation Engineering, and Water Resources Engineering (including focus areas in field hydrology, water observing technologies, and hydroinformatics) are of particular interest and thus are strongly encouraged to apply. 

Minimum Qualifications

Earned Ph.D. in Architectural, Civil, Construction or Environmental Engineering or a closely related discipline from an accredited institution. Demonstrated
