At 922 AM PDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 8 miles south of La Grange, or 15 miles northeast of Atwater, moving southwest at 10 mph. HAZARD…Pea size hail. SOURCE…Radar indicated. IMPACT…Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. This storm will remain over mainly rural areas of western Mariposa and north central Merced Counties.
