Patchy fog, locally dense in spots, with a visibility of 1/4 mile or less, developed across portions of north-central and northeast Wisconsin early this morning. Air temperatures across far northeast Wisconsin were hovering around or a few degrees below freezing as well, thus some icy spots are also possible. Motorists, including morning commuters, should allow for a little extra time to reach your destination, slow down, and use your low beam headlights if you encounter dense fog. The fog should burn off by 10 am.
