* WHAT…Up to 1 foot of inundation above ground level expected in low-lying areas near soundside shorelines and tidal waterways. * WHERE…Soundside locations along the Croatan, and Roanoke Sounds, near Manteo, Kitty Hawk Bay, soundside areas along the Pamlico Sound from Hatteras Island north, and adjacent tidal creeks. * WHEN…Until 7 PM EST this evening. * IMPACTS…Flooding of lots, parks, and roads with only isolated road closures expected. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS…Strong westerly winds of 25 to 35 mph will bring the threat of coastal flooding of up to 1 foot above ground level along soundside locations. Greatest impacts will likely be felt early this morning and this afternoon with the threat
