The combination of gusty northwesterly winds, and low afternoon relative humidities will lead to an elevated fire risk this afternoon, even despite the light rain early this morning. Northwest winds will be sustained at 15 to 20 mph gusting to 25 to 30 mph, which could allow for fires to become uncontrolled. Please refer to your local burn permitting authorities on whether you can burn today. Use extreme caution when burning as fires may get out of hand quickly in these conditions.
