At 1015 AM PST, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over La Palma, or near Stanton, moving northeast at 10 mph. HAZARD…Wind gusts up to 50 mph. Brief heavy downpour. SOURCE…Radar indicated. IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Trees may fall more easily due to saturated soils. Locations impacted include… La Habra… Cerritos… Artesia… Norwalk… Santa Fe Springs… and La Mirada.
