At 228 AM CST, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 8 miles south of Poolville, or 8 miles northwest of Weatherford, moving northeast at 30 mph. HAZARD…Winds in excess of 40 mph and nickel size hail. SOURCE…Radar indicated. IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible. This strong thunderstorm will be near… Springtown around 240 AM CST. Reno around 250 AM CST. Other locations impacted by this storm include Adell, Agnes, Peaster, Authon, Cottondale, Newark, Highland Addition, Keeter, Sanctuary, and La Junta.

Areas of fog occasionally reducing visibility to less than a mile have developed early this morning. Locally dense fog will reduce visibility to a quarter mile or less at times. Conditions are expected to improve from northwest to southeast through mid-morning. Travelers should be prepared for rapidly changing visibility, and use extra caution at intersections and railroad crossings.
