Rain will overspread the area late tonight and continue into the day on Tuesday. Temperatures will be near or just below freezing as the rain moves in so a brief period of freezing rain may be possible at the start of the Tuesday morning commute. This could lead to a light glaze on elevated surfaces and a few slick spots on area roadways, especially bridges and overpasses. You may want to allow for some extra time to reach your destination Tuesday morning.
